Arrival Time: Please bring your child into the facility and sign them in.

Pick Up Time: Please be sure to sign your child out of the facility.  We ask that you pick up your child no later than 5 (five) minutes after closing.  A $15.00 fee will be charged after the first 15 minutes after closing.  If another person will be picking up your child, please notify staff in advance.  If you wish to have someone added to your 'pick up list', we need a written note, dated and signed. (Proper ID will be checked.)

Clothing: Please send your child in comfortable play clothes. Bring an extra set of clothing 'just in case'.  All mittens, snow pants, towels, etc. should be labeled with your child's name on them.

Transportations: All children that we will be transporting shall be secured in an age appropriate car seat by legal standards.  Your child will not be transported without your written consent.  A cell phone and a first aid kit will be taken on all field trips and a phone number will be provided to parents.

Bathroom: Please bring in proper supplies such as diapers, wipes, etc.  Each child is provided with a cubby to keep their own things in. Cubbies must be emptied each Friday.

Discipline: We believe in using redirection, and/or positive reinforcement as a tool in teaching children self-control.  When these fail, a behavior sheet will be filled out by the staff and the parent will be notified at the time of pick-up to discuss strategies for better behavior.

Sickness: Please do not bring your child if he/she is sick.  For the health of all staff and children, please keep your child at home if they have developed the following symptoms within the last 24 hours:

- It is important to let staff know if your child has been exposed to a contagious disease so that we can monitor your child and the other children for symptoms.

- If your child becomes ill, you will be called to come and pick up your child.

- Checks for head lice are done weekly; if head lice are found, your child will be sent home for for treatment for 24 hours. Before returning, the child must be checked by a staff member. ( see http://www.headlice.org/ )

- All medication that is left with a staff person that is prescribed by a physician shall bear a pharmacy label stating the physician's name, amount of dosage and times administered.  Also, the date and time the medication was prescribed shall be current to the date on the medication when given by staff.  A medical release form shall be filled out and signed by the parent before any medication can be given by staff.

Absences:  If your child will not be attending, please call and notify the staff.

Daily Report: Each day a sheet is filled out to keep you informed with the details of your child's care.  This sheet includes information on every diaper change, every meal and snack, nap/quiet time, and special things about the day.

Monthly Newsletter: Every month we provide you with a calendar and newsletter of special events and field trips.
