Bible Focus: Be kind to one another, The Bible shows me the way, Jesus is the light of the world, Jesus is the Good Sheppard, and Jesus looks for the lost sheep.
The last few of weeks our themes have been “Our Friends”, “Our Family”, and “Our School”. The infants have been very excited to free paint a picture of their special family. The infant room also enjoyed singing some special bible songs and reading some bible stories. Next week we will be talking about “Our Neighborhood and “Apple picking”. We hope to do some very excited crafts the upcoming weeks. The leaves are turning and its becoming colder each day so please bring in warmer clothes for your child. Book Orders need to be brought in by October 7th, 2011. Toddler 2 room news:
We have been talking about families and we made family trees and family handprint flowers. We talked about friends and how we are nice to our friends. We made friendship flowers and friendship hand circles. We read about Jesus’ friends. Next week we will be learning about my school and then my neighborhood and God’s word teaches us and God wants us to love each other. |
The children at Toddler 1 room news: Hello parents from Leifann… We have had so much fun in the toddler 1 room. The last two weeks we have been talking about Family and Friends. We also have been doing some fall art; painted apples and some colorful leaves. Please bring in some extra clothes for your child if you have not already, also check your mail pocket for new art and other letters. Reminder: Parents please bring in extra clothes for your child now that the colder weather is approaching.
Happy Birthday: Birthdays this month are Abigail will be 4 on the 16th; Aiden B. will be 2 on the 31st.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OCTOBER is fire prevention week and we will have a firefighter from the Auburn fire department come into or daycare to talk to the children about fire prevention… ____________________________________________________________________________________________________  At any time if parents would like to come into the childcare center to read to the children, or play a game, and even if they want to do an art project please feel free to come and see Mrs. Ella. Next parent group will be November 11th, 2011. Please come and join us and be involved in your child’s childcare center… Teacher conferences will be the last week of October or the beginning of November. |
